Biography

Shantanu Jana currently runs his Architectural Practice under the name of Creative Collaboration.He was the Chief Architect for Larsen & Toubro Limited for over a decade, delivering over 5.5 million sft of new offices, 3.5 million sft of office interiors, and over 1 million sft of factory space, besides many others across the globe.

He was also instrumental in the Design of three underground metro stations at Delhi, namely Rajiv Chowk, Chandni Chowk, and Barakhamba Stations. Prior to this he associated on projects with Architects such as Hasmukh Patel, C. P. Kukreja, amongst others for mega university, Township and road redevelopment projects.

  • Masters in Building Science (1991-1993) University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA
  • Commonwealth Diploma in Architecture (1983-1990) School of Architecture, Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad, INDIA.

  • Participated in Panel Discussion on ‘Future trends in Insulation’ at the India International Insulation Forum, New Delhi, August, 2016
  • Participated in Panel Discussion on ‘Thermally Active Building Systems ‘, at the Ecophone International Accousticians Seminar, September 2015, Bostaa, Sweden.
  • He was awarded L&T Icon for exceptional design services and also selected for the week long Global Leadership Development Program, run by Ross School of Business, Michigan, USA with L&T.
  • Apart from the scholarships received at University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA, was also awarded a Commendation Certificate by the University Computing Services, for exceptional work as student employee.
  • Conducted workshops across all five years at School of Architecture, MAHE, Manipal.
  • Trained over 30 Architecture students for Practical Training
  • Was on the panel of judges for Reubens Trophy at NASA, Manipal.
